Piano
Jesse Scobie began his musical journey at the age of ten, delving into classical piano under the guidance of three distinguished teachers until he was seventeen. Transitioning to jazz piano, he studied at Montgomery College in Rockville before transferring to Shenandoah Conservatory in 2012. At Shenandoah, Jesse expanded his musical expertise, studying jazz piano and vocal jazz for two years, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Music Production and Recording Technology.
Upon graduating in May 2016, Jesse moved to Nashville, where he honed his skills through an internship and professional work until late 2017. During his time in Nashville, he not only taught piano but also performed regularly, playing 4-5 gigs a month at various live music venues.
Upon returning to Northern Virginia, Jesse dove heavy into teaching. With over eight years of teaching experience, Jesse Scobie is dedicated to bringing joy to each of his students through the art of piano.
