Moses Choi was born in South Korea and began studying piano at the age of 9. Moving to America with his family at age 15, he found new opportunities to sing in school and to learn flute in church, and discovered that he had a talent for music. He continued to pursue his love of music by trying other instruments such as the saxophone, and by continuing to sing. In high school, he performed solo and successfully auditioned for district, honors, and all-state chorus. After graduation, he attended Nova College, where he took private lessons in both piano and violin alongside his continued studies in voice. It was there that a professor recommended to Moses that he pursue becoming a professional musician. He also began
teaching music, and started to invest in learning how to make and repair violins.

Moses deeply enjoys teaching music, and sharing his love of music with others has been a blessing for him over the past ten years. He is passionate about connecting with students and working to understand each of their needs, from specific skills to simple motivation. In addition to teaching, he currently serves as an assistant director in the JM Youth Orchestra, performs as a saxophonist at Lighthouse Worship Center, and occasionally performs as a solo violinist in local communities.
