Piano
Marc Radice’s relationship with the piano began as a childhood prodigy. His earliest memories are of playing hymns and gospel tunes in his local church. His natural talent quickly became evident, and by middle school, he had already surpassed his first piano teacher, developing a deep connection to the instrument.
In high school, Marc delved into the world of classical music, mastering the works of Bach and Mozart, laying a solid foundation for his technical skills and musical understanding. However, it was in college that his love for stride piano and ragtime blossomed, adding a lively and rhythmic flair to his repertoire. Along the way, blues became a significant influence, enriching his art.
After completing his formal education, Marc’s path led him to summer stock theater, where his versatility and love for live performance flourished. From that point, he never looked back, embarking on a career that took him from the cold ports of Juneau, Alaska, to the vibrant city of Melbourne, Australia. His music became his passport, opening doors to stages and experiences all over the world.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when live performances slowed,Marc found another way to share his gift—teaching. Dozens of students who lacked a teacher found their way to him, and he discovered the joy of helping others grow through music. For Marc, the piano isn’t just an instrument; it’s a source of recovery, strength, and hope.
As he continues on his journey, Marc Radice remains dedicated to spreading the joy of music, inspiring others to find their own voices through the keys. His story is one of passion, resilience, and the power of music to uplift and connect.
